Group blog

Hey everyone, it is finally time to begin this wonderful begining sequence to a movie. As I mentioned in my previous blog, I will be selecting my group members for this project and explain why I made that selection.  So to begin with, the group members that I have selected is Joao N., Enzo P., and Constanza C. I am extremely excited to work with them not only because they are my friends but also I know that they are very productive when It comes to school. They end up getting their priorites done and are super responsible which is why I am trusting them and selected them to work with me for this exciting  The roles of each individual have not been selected yet as we didn't have that much time to discuss about that. However, the next time we discuss, selecting out roles will be our first priority so we can organize and have this project flow smoothly. Furthermore, me and my group members are all in differenet periods so we decided to create a group chat so we can have a way to communicate to each other. We facetimed each other so we can brainstorm and talk our ideas out to come with a final conclusion. So first, we had to come up with a genre. As we talked it through we came up with 3 options which are sad, comedy, and romantic, which are all very different from each other. We researched a couple of movies in those genres and we are still discussing in our top decision. We facetimed each other to finally pick the genre that we would be using and brainstorm ideas. As we are trying to make our opening scene has captivivating and interesting as possible. No one in the group have ever done an opening sequence to a movie before so this should be interesting and fun. So as no one has any knowledge in this style of filming we all decided to do some research. We each gave each other different genres to research on and watch a movie and analyze the opening scene. Me and my group are all excited to work together in making the an incredible opening sequence and being able to watch a couple of movies to learn this interesting style of filming. I will discuss more on our final decision of what genre we will be using in the next blog as we first need to watch a couple of movies and see what is more captivating and interesting to use.
