Introduction blog

 Hello everyone, I'm back once again and Im extremely excited to start my Final task. For those that don't know me, my name is Nicholas Zilbersztajen and I'm a junior in Fort Lauderdale High school. I consider myself to be very optimistic, social, and energetic, besides many other qualities. Being active is something I particularly acknowledge when it comes to soccer as it is my favorite sport. I am a highly curious person, which is a quality that everyone has said about me. I constantly enjoy learning new things and expanding my knowledge. Moving on, I'll discuss how my previous project went and how I feel about the one I'll be working on next. In my previous project I had to create a music video. I improved my skills in setting up my research, planning blog, production blog, reflection, and several online features, including using YouTube. Since this project is another group assignment, I will perform practically all of the same processes again. The fact that my previous work was successful, it inspired me to start another one and do better than before. We will move on to begin working on a final task which is a beginning to a movie. I have plenty of confidence in this video because I now have more understanding and experience regarding how the project should be completed. I've decided to work as a group for this porject. Nevertheless, I'm committed to making an excellent video and I'll do so by using the lessons I've learned from the past. I'm a really dedicated person, and I try my hardest to complete every assignment. Since I genuinely enjoy watching movies, making this final task should go without any problems hopefully. I've never actually made part of a movie before, so learning how to do one should be interesting. Im hoping that I'll pick up some new skills that will help me with any assignments in the future. Im looking forward into following all the steps neccessary and creating an exceptional project.

Title Research: Manhut

 In the film Manhunt they have various titles displayed throughout the opening sequence. These titles include the studio, production company, director and inspiration for the film. The titles also include where the film is taking place. The last title to be shown is the title of the movie itself and then the background changes to a very bright red emphasizing the film title apart from the rest. The images emphasized during the opening sequence are that of terrorists which sets the concept of the movie up and gives the audience an understanding of what they're about to watch. They also show documents that appear to be federal or secretive in the background with more mugshots of terrorist with lines connecting all of the mugshots and documents. The film establishes the thriller genre with the use of a serious and off-putting font. Our Pitch

These are our pitches we came up with for our opening sequence Pitch A: A group of students plan out an innocent camping trip and begin to find out that there is something out there, something watching them the entire time. Pitch B: A family hires a personal chef, the chef sneakily steals items from their house covering his tracks no matter the cost. Pitch A seemed a little cliche to us at first but it was a very feasible idea that could still be loads of fun and really well produced. We found that it would be simpler to use effective music in a thriller as there are loads more films and media work using suspenseful music. We also had a slight plan as to where we would film the sequence, Oleta State Park. We also had the camping equipment necessary for the props and costumes allowing our budgets to be put towards other things.
