Reflection

Welcome back to the final post, everyone. I'm grateful that you all have stayed with me over this long journey. At the end of the day, it was all worth it since my incredible and successful commercial was completed. To demonstrate the steps involved in creating the commercial and what I learned, I will answer a few questions. What technology did you learn to use?  I've improved greatly in my ability to use technology during the course of the preparation process. I previously knew how to use capcut, but this project helped me find more features in the app that might be helpful in my future projects. On my images and videos, I've learned how to use transitions. I initially had to look up how to use translations, but I quickly picked it up and was able to incorporate it into my commercial. Another type of technology that I learned is uploading my video from CapCut to Youtube. I had no idea how to do such a thing but I researched and watched videos. Lastly, I learned how to emb

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! This will my last blog before my commercial. It was a long journey but at least my commerical will be perfect. Anyways, what I will be talking about today is my videos that I will be also adding along with the pictures. As I mentioned in the previous blog, I am very indecisive, so this took me a while. It took me nearly an hour, as usual, to eventually decide which two videos to include. So to start off, my first video is obviously me playing soccer as a little kid. This video shows my passion for the sport and how I've always enjoyed playing. My dad has always helped me practice because I've always enjoyed playing the sport and my goal is to become a professional. I was playing by myself in the soccer facility where the video was shot because I was too young to play with the adults. However, after all that waiting and developing, Im finally allowed to play with them today. Now for my final video. This video shows me doing "capoeira&q

Welcome back everyone once again! In my previous blogs I've decided my song and the editing app. Now I'll be moving on to my photos. In this Blog, I will be explaining the photos that I've selected for my commercial. I will also further discuss the meaning and the reasoning why I'm using these pictures. I have multiple pictures in my camera roll that describes who I am. One of the things about me is that I have a horrible time in making decisions. Choosing the final four photographs that would be used took me about an hour. My very first image was of my family and I in Brazil when I was five years old on a mountain. It was my first year traveling outside the country. I took that picture just before my dad went paragliding. I love the way this image captures the true happiness that my family and I felt when traveling to Brazil. Furthermore, my next picture is me at the beach. I love this image because it captures one of my favorite places to relax or disconnect and block

Hello everyone! We are back again with another blog. In this blog, I will be explaining the thought process of the choice of my song. To most people, music might not be a big deal, but to me, it has a deeper meaning. I connect with music on an emotional level and the different lyrics express my feelings. From the start, I knew I wanted to choose an upbeat song in order to represent how I am; which is outgoing and extroverted. One of my favorite artists is Pitbull. I love how nostalgic and how his music brings people together with positive energy. Almost all of his music is upbeat and widely known by people. When deciding which song to select, I was in between two songs; We are the One by Pitbull or Fireball by Pitbull. I really enjoy both of these songs because of the good instrumental and the cheerful vibe. However, I ended up choosing We Are the One due to the fact that I have a better connection to that song. During the World Cup of 2014, this song played repeatedly. whether it was

Hello everyone! Today I will be walking through the process of producing my commercial. I'll start by outlining the steps that led to each decision I made for the production and the reasons for those decisions. In my previous blog, I mentioned that I would be using Cap Cut. However, I did further research and many people were telling me about iMovie. I heard that it is free to use and it includes many different tools for editing, capturing, and adding background music. The only issue is that I have no experience in iMovie while on the contrary, I've used Cap Cut in the past and I'm comfortable with it. Last year, I had a class called AICE PE, which inquired video editing. The app that our teacher recommended was Cap Cut as it allows easy editing and a quick technological process. Throughout the experience of using Cap Cut, I found it extremely useful and I finished my assignment for that class in no time. I hope to learn about new technological advancements to speed up my p

Today we are going to discuss my blueprint of my commercial. First and foremost, this commercial is going to include the following, 4 images, 2 videos along with one song which is going to describe everything about me. My first photo is when I was 12 and won a soccer tournament. In this photo it shows that I won my first competitive soccer tournament where I earned MVP of the match. The second photo shows enjoying my time at the beach which adds to my childhood growing in that environment. In my third photo it shows a regular place I visit when I go to Brazil, which is Christ the Redeemer tower. For my final image, I express my characteristics of being competitive and energetic. Next up, I included these images in the software cap cut where I put each imagine in a duration of 5 seconds with the background music of, we are the one by Pitbull. In addition, the first video I include contains my early journey as a soccer player.  This video made my family call me the next Neymar Jr. The se

About me

The story of myself first began on August 30th, 2007, my name is Nicholas Zilbersztajen I'm 16 years old. I was born in Florida but my parents were both born in Brazil. I am able to speak Porteguese and English as well as being able to speak and understand Spanish vaguely. I would consider myself to be very energetic and enjoy being outside. A sport that I'm passionate about is soccer, which I've been playing since I was 8 years old. Growing up I would go to Brazil regularly so I would see many people play soccer around the corners, in the street and even at the beach, which encouraged me to continue playing the sport.  Being a competitive person, I've played for many soccer teams but along my journey a player that I've looked up to is Neymar Jr.  I'm currently playing for both varsity soccer at Fort Lauderdale high school and Prime F.C which is a soccer club in Davie, Florida.  I'm a junior  and the question that I'm always asked is "What are your
