Welcome back once again bloggers. As you all may know, me and my group are working on a short film. It took us a lot of time to figure out what we wanted to film about. We had to make sure that whatever we decided to film, would be able to be adjusted if we have any change of minds. We also thought about what props we would need for the filming process. We figured out what clothes and props we needed to make it look very realistic. So when we decided on the roles we would play, we also thought about them matching our personality. For Joao, "PJ" in the film, is the nerdy guy, the guy that comes up with all the ideas. He is the smart one of the group. We thought he fit that role very well because everyone else in the group is very hyper. We were really stuck since Joao and myself could both play the role and it was overall a pain to decide on who would play who. We stressed a lot trying to figure all of this out. We decided to go to starbucks to lock in on our work. We started ...
Hello Bloggers! Welcome back once again. In this blog I will be talking about some problems we had during the filming process which gave us some setbacks. It was a struggle with the filming process. We had multiple complications and even got into arguments due to so much redos in videos. One of the days that we filmed, it was chaotic. It was when we looked up the coordinates and went to the house where I was thrown in the pool. We had to film the scenes at that house multiple times. Everyone kept laughing. Connie started getting stressed out because she just wanted to get it over with and move on to the next scene. After so many tries on one scene, we finally got it done. Another example was when we were outside and the truck went in front of the car. During those scenes, everyone started getting distracted and having side conversations which messed up the audio. It was already getting extremely dark. So I started getting really frustrated because no one was listening and they kept lau...
Hey bloggers and welcome back. This is the last blog before submission and Im extremely proud of our progress throughout this whole filming and editing process. It was extremely stressful and time consuming but it was worth it. The last thing we had to do was upload our opening sequence to Vimeo and embed it to the next blog. I thought it would've been a peice of cake but it took longer than I expected. I couldn't login to my account since I forgot my password and it was a whole proccess to be able to recover it. When I got it back I was able to embed it and put it into my blog. I wanted to make sure everything was perfect before submission so I sent it to my group. They then told the frame and quality was messed up. So I went back on Vimeo and tried fixing the issue. I maximized the frame size and increased the quality so it wouldn't look blury in the submission. After that was done I made sure the audio was good and all the dialogue was in perfect volume. The music was i...
