Production Blog: Starting to create Music Video

Hey bloggers! We are back once again and we are finally getting ready to film our amazing music video. Me and my have already discussed our layout for the video. Our storyboard was essential to the creation of the video as it shows everything that we are going to act out during the film. We are already scheduling our available days so that we can go to the store and get the necessary props and supplies. We also need to know our availabe days so we can start our filming. Usually most of us are availabe on weekends due to having no school but we would also need to find some days during the week so we could have enough time to film. Im so excited to finally begin this project as we have done so much to prepare for this day. Additionally, I want to start talking to my group about what editing app we are going to use. I would be thinking either CapCut or iMovie. As we currently need to focus on making the video, this will be covered in a future blog. The quality of the graphics or video recording was one of my mistakes in my previous project, therefore we also need to find out who has the greatest camera. This will be more entertaining and able to grab the audience's attention. As I previoulsy mentioned, we have our storyboard ready therefore, we know what each scene is going to look like. We only need to purchase the materials, schedule our availability, and produce this incredible film. We thoroughly discussed everything and came up with the greatest ideas, so I am convinced that this music video will be the best one yet. In addition, I've been considering that we may get these props from Party City or other Halloween-themed shops. Party City offers everything we need, therefore it is ideal. In order to add more sentimental elements to the video, we are also considering purchasing the a cute dog outfit. Hopefully everything goes as planned, and by the time of the next production blog, everything will have been discussed and prepared. I appreciate you all and wish everybody an amazing day!

Title Research: Manhut

 In the film Manhunt they have various titles displayed throughout the opening sequence. These titles include the studio, production company, director and inspiration for the film. The titles also include where the film is taking place. The last title to be shown is the title of the movie itself and then the background changes to a very bright red emphasizing the film title apart from the rest. The images emphasized during the opening sequence are that of terrorists which sets the concept of the movie up and gives the audience an understanding of what they're about to watch. They also show documents that appear to be federal or secretive in the background with more mugshots of terrorist with lines connecting all of the mugshots and documents. The film establishes the thriller genre with the use of a serious and off-putting font. Our Pitch

These are our pitches we came up with for our opening sequence Pitch A: A group of students plan out an innocent camping trip and begin to find out that there is something out there, something watching them the entire time. Pitch B: A family hires a personal chef, the chef sneakily steals items from their house covering his tracks no matter the cost. Pitch A seemed a little cliche to us at first but it was a very feasible idea that could still be loads of fun and really well produced. We found that it would be simpler to use effective music in a thriller as there are loads more films and media work using suspenseful music. We also had a slight plan as to where we would film the sequence, Oleta State Park. We also had the camping equipment necessary for the props and costumes allowing our budgets to be put towards other things.
