Production Blog: Recording second part of the Music Video

 Hello bloggers, welcome back once again and today will finally be the day where I will discuss our last day recording for the music video. It was very stressful and hard working but we came through and got it done. Me and my group members have been working on this for weeks now. We went through various of complications throughout the filming. This second part of the recording took us a minute to plan because one of the problems was that we were all busy on different days. For instance one of the days me and joao couldn't go because we had soccer practice. However one of the days that we were available enzo couldn't go because he didn't have a ride to Constanzas house. Another problem that we faced was the weather as some of the days were raining or to windy to record outside. But we were able to manage through and found a day to finally record. In this part of the recording joao was finally part of it as he was playing the friend in the music video. We also didn't need Constanzas sisters in the final part as the little girl finally grew and is going through the sickness of her dog. It took us a long time to finish as the dog wouldn't stay where we needed him to and we kept on laughing during the clips. Enzo was supposed to bring a wig or some type of prop but he wasn't able to as he didn't have time to go. Also we didn't really have the budget for all of that so we decided to adjust with what we had. We took many breaks in between each clip which caused us to be there for a very long time. I was the person that was recoridng most of that time because I wasn't really in this part of the music video. Since the little girl grew up Constanza was mostly in all of the clips. We also used Constanzas other dog which is older and ill which was perfectly what we needed for this video. Everything worked out as we planned that it would and we were able to get all the clips done. The only part that is mising is the editing which will be done by the next blog. This was a extremely longer project but we managed to make it fun and productive. Im exceptionally proud of myself and my group members for coming with brilliant ideas and creating this amazing music video. Thank you bloggers for staying here until the final result. Title Research: Manhut

 In the film Manhunt they have various titles displayed throughout the opening sequence. These titles include the studio, production company, director and inspiration for the film. The titles also include where the film is taking place. The last title to be shown is the title of the movie itself and then the background changes to a very bright red emphasizing the film title apart from the rest. The images emphasized during the opening sequence are that of terrorists which sets the concept of the movie up and gives the audience an understanding of what they're about to watch. They also show documents that appear to be federal or secretive in the background with more mugshots of terrorist with lines connecting all of the mugshots and documents. The film establishes the thriller genre with the use of a serious and off-putting font. Our Pitch

These are our pitches we came up with for our opening sequence Pitch A: A group of students plan out an innocent camping trip and begin to find out that there is something out there, something watching them the entire time. Pitch B: A family hires a personal chef, the chef sneakily steals items from their house covering his tracks no matter the cost. Pitch A seemed a little cliche to us at first but it was a very feasible idea that could still be loads of fun and really well produced. We found that it would be simpler to use effective music in a thriller as there are loads more films and media work using suspenseful music. We also had a slight plan as to where we would film the sequence, Oleta State Park. We also had the camping equipment necessary for the props and costumes allowing our budgets to be put towards other things.
