Production Blog

Hello everyone! We are back again with another blog. In this blog, I will be explaining the thought process of the choice of my song. To most people, music might not be a big deal, but to me, it has a deeper meaning. I connect with music on an emotional level and the different lyrics express my feelings. From the start, I knew I wanted to choose an upbeat song in order to represent how I am; which is outgoing and extroverted. One of my favorite artists is Pitbull. I love how nostalgic and how his music brings people together with positive energy. Almost all of his music is upbeat and widely known by people. When deciding which song to select, I was in between two songs; We are the One by Pitbull or Fireball by Pitbull. I really enjoy both of these songs because of the good instrumental and the cheerful vibe. However, I ended up choosing We Are the One due to the fact that I have a better connection to that song. During the World Cup of 2014, this song played repeatedly. whether it was at the beginning of the game, commercials, ads, breaks, etc. This is personal to me because I'm Brazillian and soccer/ the World Cup is a huge part of my culture. Especially since I've always played soccer, so hearing that song brings back memories and nostalgia connected with my culture. In my commercial, some of the photos that will be used will include me playing soccer and photos outside so I believe this song is the right choice as it will correlate with my video nicely. Throughout my commercial, this song will also be playing in the background the entire time. As previously said in my last blog, in able to edit and add the song to my commercial I will be using CapCut. All in all, I am eager to incorporate this song into my commercial and to share the love I have for it with the audience.
