Production Blog: Making changes

Hey Bloggers! Welcome back to another blog. In this blog I will be telling you about some changes we made while filming. So first off,  Connies dad was supposed to play as the first cop that appears on one of the scenes however, we had an inconvenience, so we had to adjust to what we had and improvise. We went to the store and bought a fake mustache for myself to wear and play as the cop for that scene. I had to basically replace connies dad and play two different roles. Another change we made was when we filmed at the beach. Our original plan was to go near the ocean and look for sea shells until we found a chest. Well, while we were just all hanging out there, we explored and found an abandoned boat which improved our video a whole lot. We all got extremely excited because it would also add a really good and cool scenery to our film. We changed most of that scene since we had to cut a lot of it out due to timing. Instead of finding the chest on the sand, we found it inside of the boat. Furthermore, for the last scenes, we needed another 2 cops. We asked Connies dad and his wife if they could do it and they said yes. These might be small changes in our video but we will make it work out. We got really stressed out by all of this. But we always find a way to figure it out and get it done. I am still shocked with the fact that we found that boat because it was an insane boost to our film. We felt like we were in an actual movie. I had so much fun filming this part of the video as I was intrigued myself and wanted to explore around. Moreover, It was also a great bonding experience for all of us. Well guys  that is all for this blog thank you for sticking around. I will see you all in the next blog. Movie Research: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

For the past week the group has been researching various thriller movies, the movie we're researching at the moment is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM) is a long term favorite amongst scare enthusiasts and has touched the hearts of millions of fans. However, the most recent installment of the series is poorly rated by many due to its poor storyline. The TCM is a scary film and has some notable scenes that draw out fear in the audience but lack of interesting storyline makes it bland and unentertaining. The TCM uses tracking shots, close-ups and inserts. The TCM also uses very detailed props and costumes to immerse audiences such as chainsaws and leather masks. The TCM fantastically uses jump scares and music to intensify the film and it truly terrifies the audience. Our Pitch

These are our pitches we came up with for our opening sequence Pitch A: A group of students plan out an innocent camping trip and begin to find out that there is something out there, something watching them the entire time. Pitch B: A family hires a personal chef, the chef sneakily steals items from their house covering his tracks no matter the cost. Pitch A seemed a little cliche to us at first but it was a very feasible idea that could still be loads of fun and really well produced. We found that it would be simpler to use effective music in a thriller as there are loads more films and media work using suspenseful music. We also had a slight plan as to where we would film the sequence, Oleta State Park. We also had the camping equipment necessary for the props and costumes allowing our budgets to be put towards other things.
