Productions Blog: Complications

Hello Bloggers! Welcome back once again. In this blog I will be talking about some problems we had during the filming process which gave us some setbacks. It was a struggle with the filming process. We had multiple complications and even got into arguments due to so much redos in videos. One of the days that we filmed, it was chaotic. It was when we looked up the coordinates and went to the house where I was thrown in the pool. We had to film the scenes at that house multiple times. Everyone kept laughing. Connie started getting stressed out because she just wanted to get it over with and move on to the next scene. After so many tries on one scene, we finally got it done. Another example was when we were outside and the truck went in front of the car. During those scenes, everyone started getting distracted and having side conversations which messed up the audio. It was already getting extremely dark. So I started getting really frustrated because no one was listening and they kept laughing at everything. After all of this, we all had a conversation. We all came to an agreement to focus while filming. We realized that we had to get this film done so we just locked in. So after that, we all ended up having fun. The other filming day went a little smoother than others. But all that matters is that we have fun while we film. Even with our complications we are getting closer and closer to getting done and I'm so excited to show the final product. Like I say in almost every blog, stick around you won't regret it. The titles also include where the film is taking place. Movie Research: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

For the past week the group has been researching various thriller movies, the movie we're researching at the moment is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM) is a long term favorite amongst scare enthusiasts and has touched the hearts of millions of fans. However, the most recent installment of the series is poorly rated by many due to its poor storyline. The TCM is a scary film and has some notable scenes that draw out fear in the audience but lack of interesting storyline makes it bland and unentertaining. The TCM uses tracking shots, close-ups and inserts. The TCM also uses very detailed props and costumes to immerse audiences such as chainsaws and leather masks. The TCM fantastically uses jump scares and music to intensify the film and it truly terrifies the audience. Our Pitch

These are our pitches we came up with for our opening sequence Pitch A: A group of students plan out an innocent camping trip and begin to find out that there is something out there, something watching them the entire time. Pitch B: A family hires a personal chef, the chef sneakily steals items from their house covering his tracks no matter the cost. Pitch A seemed a little cliche to us at first but it was a very feasible idea that could still be loads of fun and really well produced. We found that it would be simpler to use effective music in a thriller as there are loads more films and media work using suspenseful music. We also had a slight plan as to where we would film the sequence, Oleta State Park. We also had the camping equipment necessary for the props and costumes allowing our budgets to be put towards other things.
