Production Blog: Editing

Hello Bloggers! Welcome back once again to another blog. In this blog I will be writing about our filming and editing process. The editing its self was not hard at all, it was just extremely tedious. Since we did it last year, we had more experience with it and we were almost more used to the app. The only thing that was stressing us out was iMovie. If you make one mistake, it doesn't let you go back and we kept on making mistakes after mistakes after mistakes. Connie was mostly the one that was doing the editing since it was already on her computer. The easiest part of all this was adding the movie which took almost barely any steps. The only thing we had to learn was how to do better with the volume. Background noise was a huge issue since we weren't familiar in how to block it out. You were able to hear the wind and a lot of outside noises. Also, since the music is loud, whenever we start talking it has to get lower and slowly fade away. That was a little hard to do. But once we were able to figure out how to do it, it made it sound so much better. Moreover, our voices in some scenes are very low which made it difficult to hear in the movie. Connie was struggling in fixing it but she found a way to make it work. It was a roller coaster of events but we managed to get it all under control and made a way to work. We are getting closer and closer to the end so don't leave just yet. Thank you bloggers and have a good one!
